Kangchenjunga Nepal, November, 2007
We journeyed back to Nepal in autumn, 2007 for a trek to the North and South Base camps of Kangchenjunga in far eastern Nepal near the borders of India and Tibet. Kangchenjunga, the 3rd tallest mountain in the world after Everest and K2, is surroundedby valleys with beautiful forests and villages and many other high mountains. We spent 20 days hiking with variable weather in the first half and great weather in the second half.
